Teen Builds Website to Share Love of Library

Sep 16, 2020 | Action with Intention, News, Teen

How can you advocate for something? Tell others why it is great! DeKalb teen Anna Westhoff advocated for her library by telling others about the history of the library and detailed information about its expansion. She did this by creating a historical website for a school project, entitled The DeKalb Library: From Barbed Wire to Fully Wired. Find out about Jacob Haish, who founded the library, and read about how the library expanded into the big, beautiful building it is today. Thanks, Anna, for writing about the library that you love, for your creative writing talents, and for your dedication to accuracy of details. We love it!
