Bright Futures: Squishy Circuits!

Bright Futures: Electrify Your Mind @ Your Library Presents:

SQUISHY CIRCUITS!

Did you know that you could make electrical circuits out of homemade clay-dough? It’s true! Come join us and our friends from Northern Illinois University’s chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers as we play with clay and learn all about electricity at the same time!

(Don’t worry moms and dads–the clay is made from simple bleached flour, salt, sugar, lemon juice, vegetable oil, and water!)

We’re meeting on Saturday, April 28, at 2:30 PM, at the DeKalb Public Library. For ages 10+, maximum of 15 youth, so be sure to sign up at the DeKalb Public Library Events Calendar.

Brought to you by the DeKalb Public Library, NIU STEM Outreach, and the NIU chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers, and made possible by a grant from the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Foundation, the IEEE Life Members Committee, and the IEEE Chicago Section.
