Highlights of Achievements
Guess what we’ve done –
In our four short years we have catered library programs, sponsored summer reading programs both children’s
and adults, had our wonderful plat book digitalized, given a grant for large type books, purchased a puppet theater,
laminator, walkie-talkies, and a digital camera for the library staff, bought music appreciation DVDs for all of us to
enjoy, all sorts of things to make your library experience more rewarding.
Guess what we’re doing –
We’re bringing live parrots, musical entertainers, puppet shows, dogs for the children to read to, and the balloon
lady for the children’s enjoyment this summer, and also giving gifts from Borders and Barnes & Noble for the adults.
Guess what we’re going to do –
Have monthly book sales. If you
would like to participate both before and after
the sale, contact Nancy Allen at DeKalb Public Library. If you can’t help, you can still come to the sale and bring your wallet. It’s what makes all of these things possible.
