Guess what we’ve done –
In our four short years we have catered library programs, sponsored summer reading programs both children’s and adults, had our wonderful plat book digitalized, given a grant for large type books, purchased a puppet theater, laminator, walkie-talkies, and a digital camera for the library staff, bought music appreciation DVDs for all of us to enjoy, all sorts of things to make your library experience more rewarding.

Guess what we’re doing –
We’re bringing live parrots, musical entertainers, puppet shows, dogs for the children to read to, and the balloon lady for the children’s enjoyment this summer, and also giving gifts from Borders and Barnes & Noble for the adults.

Guess what we’re going to do –
We are going to have our largest and best Book Sale this September. We are very busy collecting books, sorting books, and boxing books. This is a huge undertaking for all of us and we need all the help we can get. If you would like to participate both before and during the sale, contact Marge Dumstorf at DeKalb Public Library. If you can’t help you can still come to the sale on September 14th – 15th – 16th and bring your wallet. It’s what makes all of these things possible.
