Reference

A reference librarian is available to answer questions and to help you find information all hours that the library is open. The reference desk is located on the main floor of the library. You also can contact a reference librarian by phone at 815-756-9568, extension 2.

Online Reference
You can email DeKalb Public Library reference services with your reference questions or you can submit the Online Reference form. Please be as specific as possible with your question. A reference librarian will provide a response within 24 hours of your submission.

You can also use Ask?Away, a new statewide cooperative reference service of Illinois libraries. With this service you can get a reliable answer from a professional librarian--anytime, day or night--right on the Internet.

Recommend an Item
DeKalb Public Library is always open to suggestions for purchasing new items for our collection. If you would like to recommend a title, please submit the Recommend an Item form.
